Traditional care to nurture your body and soul
what is a doula?
The word “doula” originates from ancient Greek, where "doulē" meant a woman who serves/slave.
In ancient Greece, these women attended to laboring mothers by offering emotional and physical support, something still central to the doula's role today.
In our modern context, a doula is a trained, non-medical professional who provides continuous physical, emotional, spiritual, and informational support to individuals across various life transitions, specializing in phases such as conception, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, loss, abortion and end-of-life care.
Meet your doula
Hi, my name is Yuridia, and I’m a Mexican Holistic Postpartum Doula and a Bruja curandera (healer witch).
The essence of my work is deeply rooted in my culture and Indigenous ways of understanding the body, where the womb is seen as more than just a physical organ. It is the ultimate center of creation, intuition, memory, and strength. It deserves to be revered, cared for, and nurtured throughout a woman's life, not just during pregnancy or the postpartum period, or what we call in Mexico “La Cuarentena”.
My biggest desire is to honor and walk alongside women through the various stages of their lives, providing them with physical, emotional, and spiritual support, as I strongly believe that when women receive holistic care, they can reconnect with themselves and their bodies, allowing them to become empowered and navigate life more magically.

The challenge for our future to restore the balance in our world lies in placing at the center the care of Mother Earth, natural cycles, babies, motherhood, and fatherhood. Care not only as assistance, but as empowerment, appreciation, connection, and growth among all.
What is essential is care, and the essence is Love.
